Comments: Found as a witches'-broom on 'Bloodgood' with distinctively longer leaves. Each lobe is ovate with a long, pointed tip. Leaves first emerge bright red turning dark, purple red as the season progresses. Like its parent, it holds its color well into fall. Photo taken in late October. The larger sized trees are well developed and very full.
