Growing Conditions: moist, well drained soils

Comments: A one-of-a-kind plant. Narrow strap-like olive-green leaves measure 1/2 inch wide and 2 inches long. Each bloom is a small circular mass of intertwined petals. As they unwind it reveals petals 1/8 inch wide and 2 inches long in a vivid lavender-pink. Puts on quite a show in May in June. Foliage tinged wine-red in winter.
Plant Size: 9-12 inch
