Growth Habit: dense, low mound
USDA Zone: 7-9

Growing Conditions: evenly moist, well-drained soils
Comments: Though many other species and hybrids have become available over the years this little gem has remained one of my favorites. The small oblong-shaped leaves have a spicy fragrance when brushed. Single flowers open in late March into April and measure 1-1.5 inches. They are a pale lavender to pink and have a delicate chiffon appearance.
