Growing Conditions: moist, well-drained soils
Comments: Discovered by an Oregon nurseryman, Jimmy Sharp, in the early 1980's. Even after 25 years it has remained one of the most popular and smallest dwarf palmatums available. The small, 5-lobed leaves hold their green color thoughout most of the season turning orange to scarlet in the fall. It is a popular bonsai selection.
