Comments: Suspected to be a sister-seedling to the more commonly grown 'Osakazuki' and is like it in every way except for the fall color. Where 'Osakazuki' turns crimson, 'Ichigyoji' turns an intense brilliant yellow or yellow-orange. Placed near water or the crest of a hill the color is intensified when sunlight filters through the leaves. Photo taken in late October.
