Growth Habit: dwarf upright tree
USDA Zone: 4-8
Exposure: filtered to full sun
Growing Conditions: moist, well drained soils
Comments: A superb selection of Hornbeam maple growing much slower than the species, eventually reaching six-feet in 10 years. Long, narrow strap-like leaves with heavily serrated edges. Green summer leaves turn a deep yellow in fall. Our specimen is 12 years old and tree-form. It is much too heavy to ship in a box and would need to be picked up here in the nursery. A selection made by the famed European nursery...Esveld.
NOTE: These are in 25 gallon pots and too large for our boxes.
Can be sent freight or nursery pickup. If interested...please inquire.
Plant Size: 6-7 feet
