Growth Habit: small shrub
USDA Zone: 5-9
Exposure: filtered to full sun
Growing Conditions: moist, well-drained soil
Comments: Extremely fine, convoluted foliage on a shrub form Japanese maple. Leaves emerge pale green and mature to a mid-green. The real show though is in the fall when those thread-like leaves turn into a kaleidoscope of red, orange and yellow. The twisted leaves remind me of the flowers on Rhododendron stenopetalum 'Linearifolium'.
Plant Size: 15-18 inch
