Comments: For many years the wrong plant has been labeled and sold as impeditum when it actually was R. fastigiatum. You can find this plant on our website too. Impeditum's small flowers are an electric blue or blue-mauve to blue-purple. Leaves on this very twiggy plant are about 1/2-inch long are much more green then the imposter. Can be a challenge to grow as it demands better drainage then most rhododendrons. Placed correctly, such as on a bank, can be a stunning spring display when planted as a group.
