Pinus parviflora 'Catherine Elizabeth'
Size: 9-12 inch head (12" Std)
Growth Habit: broad pyramid
USDA Zone: 5-8
Exposure: filtered to full sun
Growing Conditions: well-drained soils
Comments: As a young plant is quite compact and rounded, as it ages though it tends to open up creating a broad pyramid of light blue-green foliage. The needles are about half the size as the species and will retain their color throughout winter. A prolific cone producer. Rated as Zone 5, but has been found to grow successfully in Minnesota's harsh winter climate.
