Comments: Long, soft light green needles with silver undersides. Another attractive feature are the resinous cones which are even found on young trees. Growing 6-8 inches a year will reach 5-6 feet high x 3 feet wide in 10 years. A hybrid pine of P. wallichiana x P. strobus found by Johann Wieting of Giesselhorst, Germany.
