Comments: Shell pink buds open as widely funnel-shaped flowers in small trusses at the end of branches or along the branch. 2.5-inch, lance-shaped leaves are a shiny dark green. Best if planted in sunnier areas as it tends to be more open or even leggy when planted in shadier areas. It does respond well to pruning as long as it's done spring to early summer which gives new growth time to harden off before cooler temperatures return.
