Comments: Wow, outstanding in so many ways. Very glossy, dark green leaves with prominent veining are a statement by themselves. In spring, flowers open in a translucent red and with light shining through them makes for an outstanding display. I gave my father a small plant in the early 80's at his home in Brookings, Oregon. When he passed away in 2005 it was a magnificent 8 x 8 feet.
