When To Order
Fall Orders: To allow for fall planting, we ship late September through the end of October to northern gardeners and through November to southern locations, weather permitting. We make very few exceptions to our shipping dates. Bloom River plants have been carefully nurtured and we don't want to jeopardize their health and happiness!
Spring Orders : Spring shipping begins around mid-March and usually finishes up in late June. We pay attention to what the weather is doing in your area before we send your shipment. It is against our policy to expose plants in transit to unseasonably warm or frigid conditions. Ground service to the east coast can takes 5- 8 days. Unless projected temperature forecasts along ground transit routes are deemed safe for plant shipment, we recommend using 2nd or 3rd Day Air.

Summer Orders: Summer shipping to most locations must travel by 2nd or 3rd Day Air. After you place your online order, we will e-mail you with the additional shipping cost. If the weather in our area or customer location is too hot, we will delay shipment until temperatures cool down. We do not want to jeopardize the health of our plants. Shipments to the Pacific Northwest can be sent by ground transit throughout the year, weather permitting.
