Wisteria sinensis 'Kofuji'
Size: 2-year graft
Growth Habit: slow-growing, small, shrubby habit
USDA Zone: 5-8
Exposure: loves full sun
Growing Conditions: moist, well-drained, fertile soil
Comments: Collectors! Here is a very rare, miniature, tiny-leafed wisteria forming a thicket of 8-12 inch short, twiggy branches, eventually forming a dense shrub about three feet high and wide. One of the best for bonsai. It doesn't flower regularly, but occasionally produces tiny clusters of faintly scented lavender flowers.
